Color patches in on TV screen.

Due to problem in the PTC in the degaussing section of TV, the screen gets color patches.

Keeping speaker and other magnet containing things also create color patches on the TV screen.

The only remedy to solve the problem is to replace the old PTC with good quality new PTC.

There are two pin and three pin type of PTCs.

Better is to replace with same Kind.

Some time due to shorted PTC it will make the fuse to blow off. To confirm the problem just disconnect the PTC connector from the board and switch on the TV.
